After initial contact, I will send you more details and a little paperwork. When completing this there will be questions to reflect on which can serve as building a strong intention for the experience and work we will do together.
The first session will be us getting to know each other, and during this, I will be asking about where you are at currently, what has been going on, and where you want to go; where you would like to land. Second session is typically a bit more of this, with more detail around your history and the patterns or themes of your story. Of course I will weave in my best guess of healing elements as quickly as possible and as needed, and to give you best service... I need to know, understand and connect with you.
From there we can collaboratively create a loose arc of what to expect, what to do, what to focus on, what to create and design the experience.
The majority of my practice at the moment is working with people who have long-standing pain. Unshifting, unrelenting, refractory and, "treatment resistant" difficulties.

I have been working in this space for 15 years. My most important developmental experience has been working in the psychiatric hospital setting, being with people in acute suicidal crisis and addiction withdrawal, and then continuing care in the outpatient setting. From this, my practice is deeply rooted in an existential and humanistic approach, which informs the texture and quality of delivering evidence-based practice....

Many people I work with have an history of inpatient care, sometimes decades of therapy from all different approaches. So for this experience to be different, that initial paperwork and that initial session actually may hold a bit more weight than expected. I encourage a real thoughtfulness of the intention of this work. We will draw on what resources have been helpful. And if you are new to this, absolutely fine, we will just work with where we are at today.

The last few years I have been studying and practicing novel therapies, and older therapies from working with children and horses, to analytical and relational approaches, to a more focus on somatic experiences, movement, art, music, eco-therapy and psychedelic-assisted therapies.
